Melted Crayon Typeface Process

In my first attempt to melt crayons into letterforms, I found this website that suggested putting all of your crayons into an old baking dish and heat them in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes. http://dannyseo.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/08/new-crayons-from-old-one.html#comments

I didn't have an old baking dish, so I thought I would try melting the crayons in an old pan over the stove. Unfortunately, I used too few crayons and they melted together to form an ugly shade of brown - they also stuck to the pan and broke apart when I tried to cut them into shapes with cookie cutters!
